Bernie was born in London as Bernadette Osarieme Nkemdiche Olaye on 6th September in the mid 1980's. She hails from Oredo LGA, Benin City.
Bernie started as a singer in foursquare gospel church in Lagos State, Nigeria.
She studied Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management at the prestigious Covenant University.
While at Covenant the star in her couldn't help but shine so bright and again Bernie was constantly behind the microphone in worship, praise, solo, and everything else that meant she was able to sing while she was there serving in the Covenant University choir .
Bernie was opportune to minister in Canaan land at Shiloh and other Canaan land services leading the covenant university choir as a soloist.
Singing is and has always been her life she is indeed called to be a minister of the gospel through songs.
She is currently the choir director of the Living Faith Church Finima, Bonny Island, transforming people's lives through songs.
Bernie is married to her heartthrob Emmanuel Bristol and they are blessed with 2 beautiful daughters Tammy and Kuro.
