Super Eagles of Nigeria becomes the first African Team to secure a place in the FIFA World Cup 2018 hosted in Russia after they beat the Zambian national team by a lone goal. The Super Eagles had earlier beaten the Chipolopolo side in the Zambian home by 2 goals to 1. Alexander IWOBI brought the victory home on the 66th minutes into the second half of the game.
The Super Eagles currently on top of the table with 4 wins and 1 draw leaving them with a total of 13 points and 5 matches played.
On the bottom of the table is Algeria with 1 draw, 0 wins and 4 losses leaving them with just 1 point. The Super Eagles is billed to play her last game against Algeria on the 6th of November 2017 in Algeria.
