Sotiee Testifies
I am Sotiee and this is my testimony
I was 7 years of age when I got this accident, a girl was returning from a Coca Cola depot with a crate of Coca Cola, when she got to the gate of my house and some children within the compound rushed to her and to greet her and the crate of Coca Cola fell.
Although I was far away playing, but a particle of the broken coke bottle stood in my eye and I had to undergo surgical procedure to remove it.
As time went on, my vision became blurry, and I didn't really see it as a problem until a friend told me to accompany him to the eye clinic for his eye check up and then I decided to do a checkup too.
The doctor confirmed that I had developed cataract in that eye and needs an immediate operation, and that if it had gone past the way it was, it would have caused blindness. So I came home and told my dad and the surgery was carried out in two 2 days.
It's 5years now since that surgery, I would have been blind but I'm not that's more than enough reason to #CELEBRATE.
